Do You Enjoy Travelling?
I sure do! In a year I try my best to take up to 4 vacations at least, now taking a vacation can mean different things for many different people for example; Going out of the country for weeks or even months but for me it just means getting away from home just for a bit even if I’m up north which is an hour away I’d still consider that as my vacation.
This summer I was working two jobs; I worked at a Fido store and at Montreal’s theme park La Ronde I had such a busy summer I had no time to say “ I’m bored” because I was literally working everyday of the week, no doubt I saved up good amount of money but what’s the fun if you don’t have time to spend it? And I had completely killed my social life because I had no time to spend with my friends. It can be very hard to get days off when you’re working at two different places and especially when you’re working 7 days a week , so I had no choice but to quit my La Ronde job and beg my Fido manager to give me few days off so I can go on vacation before school starts.
I know it is expensive to travel by air but that’s the only way I like to travel because it’s the fastest way to get to your destination. If you’re traveling somewhere far going by car, bus or train can be very hectic, tiring and annoying so i dont like doing that at all. I do most of my booking online which I do believe is the best and cheapest way, as soon as my manager gave me permission I booked my airline ticket with delta online to fly to Atlanta, Georgia. My sister and brother in law live in Atlanta so whenever I go there I don’t need to spend money on hotels, I just stay in their luxurious condo very close to downtown. That’s why taking a trip to Atlanta can be very cheap for me because all I have to pay for is the shopping and the airline ticket( which can be sound at acheap price online) and not have any other expenses such as food or hotel.

I do not only enjoy travelling, but I also LOVE travelling. The main reason why I do not travel a lot is the lack of time. When summer comes, I work full time. Why?Because I want to have a lot of money, so I can spend them on a lot of things, and of course, go on vacation after.Well… Even if I work full time, and I have money, I still do not have the time for vacation. This summer I wanted to go to Europe, but I did not go.I was working full time, and I did not have time. I did not even have time for my friends, and family.

Heyy!!! nice blogg!! i agree with the fact that travelling to your destination by car is tiring and sometimes hectic!! THis summer,i went by car to Florida!! IT took two days!! Let’s just say i wass really happy to arrive there!! However, i think going by car you see all differnt parts of the country that you would’ve never seen if you would’ve gone bby plane!!! Good Job!!!

I agree with the point you made about how travel can mean different things. People usually think of it in the bigger sense of going to another country, but as you said going to the cottage or away for a weekend is traveling as well. It’s important to remember that because not everyone can afford to travel to another country for long periods of time. And by taking smaller and inexpensive trips you get to do it more often.

I agree that a “vacation” can mean many different things. This summer my fiance and I took four days to drive one hour east – to Cowansville in the Eastern Townships – just so we could get away from our house and neighbourhood. There was nothing very exciting to do there, but just the change of air and scenery made it feel like a holiday.
